Welcome to Intangibles
Success is driven by how, as much as by what, how we communicate, how we lead, how we relate to our environment are all vitally important. Intangibles is a podcast that explores the underlying traits, qualities, and behaviors that improve the how. This is accomplished by finding the people who have studied and been successful practicing the soft skills and having informed conversations with them to get to what is learnable.
Meet the Host
Steve Berg is the host of Intangibles. He founded the podcast in 2017.
He is currently a partner at a New York City-based venture capital fund called Lytical Ventures. Lytical Ventures focuses on early-stage investments of companies that drive “corporate intelligence”, comprising of cybersecurity, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
Steve is currently a member of the board of directors for Reciprocity, Inc. and Reality AI. He also acts as a board observer for TrueFort, Inc., MontyCloud, and VISO Trust.
Prior to joining Lytical Ventures, Steve was the General Partner of Antecedent Ventures and was part of the RTP Ventures investment team. Steve has held positions in strategy and corporate development at Emulex (NYSE: ELX) and as a sell-side analyst covering technology at Punk, Ziegel & Co. Steve holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a BS in business from Miami University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation holder.
Working with many founders throughout his career he has seen it all. Steve has set out of the last 4 years to speak with the people who have mastered the skills that he has seen make the experienced entrepreneurs successful.
